We still have his sold out performance at Mallorca Live Summer 2020 engraved in our minds. However, this summer we will see a new Guitarricadelafuente at the festival, although he is the same person. That one with such a personal style that made everything blow in 2018 with ‘Guantanamera’ and ‘El conticinio’ and who now flirts openly with electronic music and urban sounds.

Álvaro Lafuente alias Guitarricadelafuente will return to Calvià with his debut album, La Cantera, where he gets his doctorate with an extreme originality. Alongside Raül Refree, one of today’s greatest producers, Guitarrica revamps himself. He does so with songs that no longer come straight from his treasured guitar and he sounds melancholic but happy, convinced that one thing is not at odds with the other.
