Niños Luchando

In nautical slang, “la estiba” (stowage) is the arranging and packing of cargo in a vessel for shipment. The Granada artist Javier Bolívar has let go of that load and turned it into the EP Diario de inmersión parte I (2021), published as Niños Luchando.

At Mallorca Live Festival we will witness one of the first live shows of Javier’s new project, six years after the split of his previous band, Aurora. Julio Bolívar and Carlos Marqués join him once again and together recapture elements of the minimalist pop they became known for. Their debut album, Géminis (2013), produced by Banin of Los Planetas, led them to open for Tame Impala. On their second, Sílice (2014), they explored new territories which allowed them to visit Mexico and Colombia.
