REPION

Sisters Marina (guitarist and backing vocalist in Mikel Erentxun’s band) and Teresa Iñesta (singer and guitarist of Aiko El Grupo and drummer of Yawners) form the energetic project that is Repion. Betting on grunge-pop, the duo cites references ranging from Sleater Kinney or Juliana Hatfield to Dover or Tahures Zurdos, to name a few.

Vitality, anger, post-teen frustration and a touch of melancholy. Above all, what Repion holds is truth on all four sides: a strong rock discharge, rather sad lyrics and a live show that runs you over. To prove our point, three examples: ‘Los Noventa’, ‘Amor Fantasma’ and their latest single, ‘Brillante’.
