Rufus T. Firefly

The band created by Víctor Cabezuelo and Julia Martín-Maestro is already considered a cult act within the spanisht independent scene and Rufus T. Firefly will make its Mallorca Live Festival debut with their long-awaited new album, El Largo Mañana. More than 10 years on it was their 2017 LP Magnolia (a statement album in defence of art, love and nature) which granted the group their well-deserved big leap. An ambitious and unique piece, oblivious to trends and urgency, it found its sequel in Loto (2019).

Thanks to their energy and sophisticated sound that translates into magical live shows that celebrate rock and psychedelia, Rufus T. Firefly put an end to a long spanish tour –and visits to Mexico and Chile– with a very special concert in Madrid’s La Riviera, selling out tickets months in advance. This year the band has yet again taken a new risk by playing a set of live shows showcasing El Largo Mañana way before the album’s release.
