The Blessed Madonna

How does one transform, barely overnight, from hometown hero into one of the most sought-after and respected DJs on the planet? In a span of a few years, The Blessed Madonna AKA Marea Stamper (formerly known as The Black Madonna) used her grit and talent to propel herself into a world that not long ago would have rejected someone outside of its conventions. 

Her production work, including the widely praised ‘He is the Voice I Hear’ (first record for her own label, We Still Believe) walks the line between disco and techno, with the emotional weight of the former and the driving momentum of the latter. She has delivered high-profile remixes for Robyn, Tiga, Georgia or the latest Dua Lipa album, Club Future Nostalgia (2020). 

One of dance music’s foremost activists, she is renowned for her commitment to humanitarian work and her outspoken views on LGBTQi rights and gender inclusivity. A force of nature is on her way to Mallorca Live Festival.
