Electronic dance music arrives in Mallorca thanks to Sónar and Mallorca Live with the new series ‘Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa’, which will bring together at the Old Calvià Aquapark during three summer Saturdays to many of the best international DJs of the moment.
‘Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa’ will be held on Saturdays July 16, August 6 and September 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., in a totally new space integrated into nature, just 20 minutes from Palma de Mallorca.
Furthermore, the public at ‘Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa’ will also enjoy a careful gastronomic offer, based 100% on proximity products with the aim of supporting to local producers.
There will be all kinds of options, including both vegetarian and vegan, as a result of the collaboration with Esment, an entity that has worked for more than 50 years for the quality of life and equal opportunities for people with support needs. The collection obtained will go entirely to the foundation.
Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa is held at Mallorca Live Festival’s venue, Calvià’s Old Aquapark, but in a different space never seen before by the public. It is located at the intersection of Camí de Cala Figuera with Camí Porrassa, next to the 8 traffic circle.
Located in the southwest of Mallorca, only 20 minutes from the airport, Calvià offers excellent hotel infrastructure, and plenty of services in all its beach areas. To get to the venue you can take exit 14 (Magaluf – El Toro) on the MA-1 highway that connects Palma with the Port of Andratx or exit 13 (Calvià – Palmanova).
The venue has its own parking, that of Calvià’s Old Aquapark, with a 600 vehicles capacity, and if necessary it is also possible to park in front of Western Water Park, only five minutes away and with 650 parking spaces available.
