Few songs are as recognizable from the first beat as ‘Fiesta pagana’ and few groups have such a unique sound as Mägo de Oz. It was more than 30 years ago when Txus di Fellatio came up in Madrid with the peculiar idea of mixing heavy metal and hard rock with other genres such as classical music, rock and roll, blues and folk. But their trademark sound is Celtic music, the real key to their success.
Mägo de Oz is one of the most important bands of the Spanish heavy metal scene and is estimated to have sold more than two million albums between Spain and Ibero-America. La leyenda de la Mancha (1998), Finisterra (2000) and the Gaia conceptual trilogy stand out within its back catalogue, to which they added Bandera Negra in 2021. At Mallorca Live Summer they will showcase their ‘Al Abordaje Tour’ with a one-of-a-kind show.
