José González will play his first concert in the Balearic Islands as part of our Mallorca Live Nights lineup on Saturday, April 16 at Palma’s Es Gremi venue. The Swedish-Argentinian singer-songwriter will make his live debut on the island with his fourth album and the first in over six years, Local Valley (2021). We can’t think of a better grand finale for our comeback to live music venues.

After becoming known in the early 2000s with his band, Junip, José González has achieved world fame as a solo artist, creating his own sound and showing how good he is at creating melodies and indie-folk atmospheres. We have heard his songs in movies like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and in series like Breaking Bad, The Blacklist or The O.C..

This is the first international announcement for Mallorca Live Nights, which after the success of its first concert with Los Zigarros and Roulotte on January 7, will also bring to Mallorca names such as Rodrigo Cuevas and Niños Luchando (February 19), Triángulo de Amor Bizarro (March 4), Yung Beef (March 25) and Hinds (April 9).
