GRAN AMANT

A decade after El Primer Disc (2011), Gran Amant is back. Last year, the band from Palma published Pedres, a comeback with a Stranger Things inspired cover and a content that has nothing to do with metaphysical pop. Gerard Armengol’s project maintains the universe and poetry of his debut, but here the drawing has become a reality.

Pedres reflects the burden of adulthood but is packed with the Spielberg setting and nods to The Goonies, ET, Cobi, Barça, Goku… A still life of icons and a new mythomaniac exercise by a complete and singular artist that we are thrilled to have at our festival.
