Their own unique take on ‘Soy Peor’ by Bad Bunny is still stuck in our heads, but this is just one of the hits The Parrots have managed to deliver. Their second album, Dos (2021), includes ‘Maldito’ (featuring C. Tangana) and ‘You Work All Day And Then You Die’, two hymns we will chant together next summer in Calvià.
Since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Los Niños sin Miedo (2016), The Parrots captivated us with their lo-fi easy manner, psychedelia and garage new wave mix. Their shows mean fun and sweat and they have played across Europe, the US and Central America. With their new guitar riffs and catchy melodies, the Madrid band pledge to stir things up on the island.
