This summer for the first time in the Balearic Islands, Sónar will curate three Saturday evenings of music in Mallorca from some of the most important international DJs. Inspired by the format of Sónar Barcelona’s iconic SónarVillage stage, ‘Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa’ will settle in at Calvià’s Old Aquapark on 16th July, 6th August and 3rd September with a top-level lineup.

UK acts Overmono and Floating Points headline the lineup on the 16th July while France’s The Blaze and Australia’s Logic1000 and CC:DISCO! perform on the 6th August. The final date, on the 3rd September, will feature German selector Danilo Plessow (MCDE) and Âme Live (Frank Wiedemann), who’ll close the series with a b2b set with Portugal’s Trikk

Local talent will also be represented with Lourdes, Fabian Roelandt and Difid, as well as revolutionary selectors like Jyoty, Yu Su, and Jamz Supernova.

‘Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa’ will be held on Saturday evenings from 19:00 to 03:00, at Calvià’s Old Aquapark, in an entirely new venue surrounded by nature. The venue will also feature a selection of local gastronomy made with local products, in collaboration with Esment, a charity that has been working for more than 50 years to improve the quality of life and provide equal opportunities for people with learning difficulties. All proceeds from the food sales will go straight to the charity.

Individual tickets for all of the dates go on sale today. Additionally, Early Bird season tickets to attend all three days of ‘Un SónarVillage a S’horabaixa’ are still on sale at a reduced price. All tickets can be purchased at www.sonarshorabaixa.com
